On Saturday I hosted book club and made this Baked Spinach Artichoke Dip for everyone. It was so good!! I knew it was going to be a winner when I pulled it out of the oven and it was all bubbly and cheesy. I couldn’t wait to dig into it! I served the Spinach Artichoke Dip alongside baguette slices and corn chips.

April is a really quiet month for Lance and me. I don’t think we have a single thing planned, and I’m really looking forward to some relaxing nights after work. This month I’m looking forward to starting my nightly walks, learning a few photography skills, working on some upcoming blog projects, watching one of my favorite TV shows that’s coming back on and more!

Last week my sister, Chira, posted a picture of S’mores Cupcakes on her Facebook page. It was my nephew, Evan’s, 10th birthday, and Chira made them to bring to Evan’s classroom to celebrate. S’mores are one of my favorite desserts. I love the combo of graham crackers, melted chocolate and gooey marshmallow. They are such a staple dessert in the summer. These cupcakes are a nice alternative when you can’t toast the marshmallow outside over a fire. For these cupcakes, you have a chocolate cupcake topped with fluffy marshmallow frosting and a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.

I hope everyone had a great Easter! We spent ours checking out a new spot, The Deer’s Head Inn, having brunch with close friends. Then Lance and I headed over to his parents for dinner. I made a few desserts to bring including a Lemon Pie and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Both desserts were SO good! It was a really fun weekend, and I’m lucky to have such a close group of friends and family to spend Easter with.

Lance’s and my wedding is less than 5 months away, and I thought it would be fun to share with you guys all of the planning we’ve been doing to get ready for our big day! I’m going to create a wedding planning series on the blog and post 1 or 2 times a month of all the progress we’ve been making so far. To start the series, I wanted to share our engagement story! I’m so excited to tell you because it really was such a perfect moment.

Joanna Gaines Lemon Pie recipe is by far one of the best recipes I’ve made to date. I came across it while skimming through the Magnolia magazine last spring, and I instantly knew this was the dessert I was making for Easter dinner. I’m so glad I did because this dish was a hit! It’s light, refreshing and so easy to make. The rustic simplicity of this pie is stunning. There’s something I love about recipes that are simple to make and require only a handful of ingredients. They’re the recipes that come out unbelievably good, and the ones I make over and over again.

I can’t believe it’s the last week of March! Easter is right around the corner, and I’ve been looking for a cute outfit to wear. There’s so many good options, and I wanted to share my picks with you guys! I’ve been loving jumpsuits lately, and I’ve included one below. This time of year in New York it’s really hit or miss weather wise, and wearing a jumpsuit with a light jacket would be perfect if it was on the chillier side. I don’t wear dresses that often because we have cold weather 6-7 months out of the year. #NewYorkWinters However, last year I remember Easter was a little later, and I got to wear one of my favorite dresses. It was such a perfect spring day!

Last week I loved reminiscing about Lance’s and my beach vacation to Cape Cod. Today I’m sharing Part 2 of our travel guide. Since it was our first time to the cape, we decided to split our week between 2 towns. The beginning part of the week we stayed in Falmouth, and the second half we stayed in South Yarmouth. The last bit of our trip was so relaxing. We lounged on beach chairs by the ocean soaking up the sun. I’m sharing our time spent in South Yarmouth – including the best seafood restaurants we ate at!

Lately it feels like Spring will never arrive. We’ve had 2 Nor’easter’s this month, the temperature has been in the negatives at night and there’s still a couple of feet of snow on the ground. I thought for sure we would get an early Spring but living in New York you never know what to expect!

On my Pinterest I have a board called “Tried and True”. It includes the recipes I’ve tried on Pinterest that are definitely worth making again. Once in a while, I’ll make a recipe from Pinterest that didn’t turn out well. The image looked great, but the recipe wasn’t. I’m really particular when it comes to saving recipes to my tried and true Pinterest board. It literally had to be mouth watering for me to save it. Since I’ve tried SO many recipes on Pinterest, I’m sharing below some of my tried and true favorites for you to enjoy as well!

We’re getting another Nor’easter next week, and after the previous 2 we just had, I’m ready for a beach vaca. I thought this would be the perfect time to share part 1 of my Cape Cod Travel Guide. I’m so excited to share this post because Lance and I had the best time in Cape Cod! It was both our first time visiting, so we really didn’t know what to expect. Not only did we love driving around the most charming neighborhoods, lounging on some of the most beautiful beaches and eating our way through the best seafood we’ve ever had, Cape Cod is also where we got engaged!
